So am I the only one who had a disaster with this recipe? Seriously, my kitchen looked like an A-bomb went off. I placed the entire bag of frozen doughs in the pan - poured the ingredients over top. Nice'n'easy. And went to bed. It's December - frozen balls and cool weather froze he ingredients so they didn't much seep thru as they should have. Nuts and all became a super hard shell on the top. Melting down was only the butterscotch syrup that formed. The balls sort of rose up and busted out all over in the oven - I have a nice toffee layer on the bottom of my oven and dough balls everywhere with their associated mess. OY. Tasted good - looked like something from a sci-fi movie bustin out of the pan - lone balls hanging in strange ways draping over the pan. Next time I will interweave the topping with the thawed out balls = use less of them -- and cook sooner. My advice also is to get some of that streusal at the bottom of the pan before anything else goes in.

We love this recipe! I have made it our Christmas morning tradition. Christmas Eve before we go to bed, we put this little thing together and pop it in the oven in the morning. YUM!! Word of caution, do not let it rise more than 10 hours though. First year I did and took pictures of it because it was everywhere!

This is a must have in everyone's recipe box! I have given this recipe to just about everyone I know. Sometimes I add cinnamon to the brown sugar before I add the brown sugar and raisins to half of it for those that like that element.

For 4 years or so I've been making this several times a year. It's a definite crowd pleaser, and if you line up yeast rolls, it looks stunning as well. It can be difficult to find the non-instant butterscotch pudding, so when I'm at a store that carries it, I just stock up.

Love, love, LOVE Paula Deen! You cannot go wrong with any of her recipes. This was exceptionally easy to make and makes for a wonderful bring along dish to any event! Highly recommend! The teachers at my school didn't even let me make it to the lounge before they dug into it!

What a great breakfast treat. The only hard part about this recipe is finding the ingiedients. My local store doesn't carry non instant butterscotch pudding nor frozen dinner rolls. But kids and hubby say it was worth driving to other stores to find them. They were arguing over who got the last piece and reguesting it be made again for next Sunday's breakfast even before we finished.

I saw Paula prepare this recipe a few years ago around the holidays.
For neighbors and friends I buy a bundt pan make the recipe Chirstmas Eve along with a festive towel to cover the top. It makes a nice holiday gift for a family and they enjoy wonderful coffee cake Christmas Morning. The Coffee cake and bundt pan are the gift.

Amazing! I cook this often since my family loves it so much. I also find that cooking it a little less than 30 minutes is perfect.
