This is a great cake! So moist & delicious!!!! And, you don't need the glaze because it tastes great on its own.

Loved this cake, it was easy and very yummy. I followed the recipe exactly except I used butter in place of the oil. I thought when I watched the episode, Paula's uncle left the peel on the apples. Does anyone know, I think next time I'll peel them.

Used a V slicer to cut apples (Gala, great size for cake
Also, reduced sugar to 1 cup- apples were sweet enough and used melted
butter, not oil. Wonderful texture and flavor.

I would like to know where I can get the green leaf cake plate that Paula used for this cake.
