What a great cake . Very easy to make , so delicious. My batter was thick so I had to add more oil. Also for the icing I used a couple of tablespoons of dark rum with a cup of confectioner's sugar and glazed the cake while it was still warm. Everyone loved it ! Another great recipe Paula !

This is a delicious cake! My "batter" was more like cookie dough so I added another egg and a couple extra tablespoons of oil to make it easier to mix in the apple mixture and the cake baked fine. It was moist and very tasty. I am making another one for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Great recipe, Paula.

I made this using 3 cups of apples....wish I had used the 5 cups as someone else suggested. Even with a cup extra from what the recipe called for, I think it could use more apples. I baked it for 70 mins. & anymore than that the cake would have been too dry. Next time I will probably take it out of the oven after 65 mins. As hard as it was, I did keep the cake in the pan for the hour called for after taking it out of the oven. I inverted it & it popped right out.

Wonderful, I like brown sugar so I substituted 1/2 cup regular sugar with 1/2 cup brown sugar. Yum Yum and I don't like honey so I used applesauce and cream cheese.

This cake was moist and wonderful!!! Because it is fall, I didn't do the honey glaze. I made a caramel glaze instead and it really complimented the apple flavor. Thanks for another great recipe PAULA!
