I was clearing out my freezer when I stumbled across this recipe so I made substitutions according to what I had available. I omitted the fennel and bouillon cube and used crab meat, lobster meat, and scallops. I also used frozen veggies like corn and peas. The dish still turned out perfect. It was savory, well-balanced, and flavorful. The puff pastry was genius, it took the work out of making pot pie. It's nice to know that I didn't have to empty my wallet to create a fabulous meal for my family. Next time I have leftover seafood, I know I can use this fool-proof recipe.

I made this this weekend and recieved rave reviews from everyone I had over. I will say that I couldn't find the seafood bullion. I looked at three stores. I ended up using some clam juice in it instead. Not sure if it helped or hurt though, the pot pie tasted pretty "fishy". Was still a great recipe and I will probably try it again and "tweak" it a little!

made this for hubby and friends, they raved about it for DAYS. some of the ingredients were difficult to come by - like the seafood base, and it was very very expensive to pull this together but so worth it for some really really good comfort food.

I had this dish at Uncle Bubba's Oyster House in Savannah a few weeks ago and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I haven't yet made the seafood pot pie, but the chicken pot pie is simple and so good, I'm sure it's not much harder to do the seafood one!

This was an easy recipe to prepare and even easier to eat! I did quadruple the recipe and add a jar of Aunt Barbs mushrooms. Everyone loved it even the neighbor kids!

I can't believe only one person reviewed this recipe.....its wonderful...if you're a seafood lover you gotta try this one. (I guess since it was from the cook-off show and not one we actually saw Paula fix, folks haven't tried it yet. You don't know what you're missing!
