Absolutely delicious! Easy too. Would highly recommend trying this dish. This will be a longtime special dish for our family. Thanks Paula!

Delicious! At the time I used a store bought pie shell and if in a hurry it would be perfectly fine but I love crust, specially home made. So I will use a crust on the bottom and on the top.

This was sooooo good! Very much like a quiche. I didn't have any bacon, but it still turned out wonderful. Next time I will make it with the bacon, to see which way I like it better. This is a very easy recipe, but tastes like it took a long time to make!

This is an awesome dish! We used Spanish sweets and fat-free sour cream and it's still a major winner. Thanks, Paula! This is going to be a staple around here!

Was looking up recipies to use a bunch of vidalia onions purchased thru a fundraiser. I made this for dinner and ate the leftovers as snacks and even for breakfast for the next few days. I just could not get enough of this! When I was making the filling it seemed like it would be heavy, but it came out light and fluffy.

I made this onion pie last night and was so pleased with the results. Intense flavor, light texture, easy to make. My family was a little leary when I said we were having onion pie, after one slice they said I could make this anytime! I did not change anything in this recipe, except to bake it maybe 10 min. longer. I used this as an appetizer, but with a side salad would serve this as a main course. Thanks Paula!

Made this for my family last night and was wonderful. I added a crushed beef bouillon cube to the onions for added flavor. The filling mixture was very light and creamy tasting. I added fresh ground pepper to the filling. Was an excellent side dish. Will be making this again. Thanks Paula!

Even my daughter, who doesn't like onions, loved this dish. We just bought a 10 lb. bag of Vidalia's to support our Church fundraiser and now we need more delicious recipes like this to use them up. Thanks Paula!

I made this with one exception to the recipe, I used homegrown, sweet
red onions. It was excellent, the custard was extremely light and delicate unlike
some quiches I've tried. For a lite dinner try with just a side salad. Great job Paula!

I fixed this for dinner, along with asparagus and a salad. My husband and I both loved it It really doesn't need meat or cheese, although I did add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, some cayenne., and a few drops of green Tobasco sauce. We like things a bit spicy. This is certainly a keeper. I found that it took about 15 minutes longer to set in my oven than the recipe called for.
