When I saw Paula making this on her show I couldn't wait to try it! My family loves onions and anything with onions is worth trying. Made this for dinner as one of the side dishes and we could have eaten it as the main dish!!! If I was making this for as a main dish I would have added some meat to it and it would have been perfect. The sweetness of the onions came out in this dish! This is definitely a KEEPER and I can't wait to make it for a family dinner gathering!!! Everything Paula makes is absolutely delicious!!!!

This is a good country dish at its best. I think it's called "low-brow"? Few, simple ingredients with no fuss yet makes a great, filling dish. I could eat this all by itself. When I saw Paula make this, I wondered why there wasn't any cheese put in it. However, the filling is gooey almost as if there was cheese in it. You won't miss the cheese! Thanks Paula for something different!

This turns out like a soft quiche. We're in Washington State, so we like to use Walla Walla Sweet onions. It turned out very good. I will make again.

I watched Paula make this on the food network this morning and I decided to make it for dinner, to go along with grilled steaks. I followed the recipe exactly and it was wonderful. I was leery that the onion taste would be too strong but I used 1 1/2 medium vidalia onions and it was delicious. I will be making this again for my family but I think next time, I'll put it in a glass pie dish without the crust. This is actually perfect for brunch as well as a side dish for dinner.
