Ingredients

  • 1 bottle sparkling wine or Champagne
  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 quarts orange juice
  • 2 quarts orange sherbet, softened
  • Vodka, optional

Directions

15 pounds dry ice chips

Pour sparkling wine into a large bowl. Add cranberry and orange juice. Scoop sherbet into bowl until it has produced a nice coating over the top. If you want to raise or lower the alcohol content in the punch, add vodka or clear soda respectively.

Drop in pieces of dry ice for steaming effect, but note that no one should put dry ice in his/her mouth. Ladle into cups.

vodka isn't necessary. I made a large pticher of the punch ( minus the sherbert ) and scooped into the cups as we went. ... This recipe makes a huge amount, so this was our solution to having left over punch that would still be great the next day.Read more

Recepie is great, however a tip for the dry ice. You can get a mesh bag to put ice in and then you can drink right away... since it stays in bag until disolvedRead more
