This cranberry sauce is out of this world. My husband loves it so much that he asks me to make it all the time - he always wants a batch of this stuff in the fridge. It is just delicious. I can't say enough about it. It is also extremely easy to make which is why it is not a big deal for me to always have a batch of this prepared for my hubby. Thank you Paula for this wonderful recipe and for making it so easy for me to make my hubby happy! :-

I am not a big fan of cranberries but loved this recipe. My husband loved it too. Thanks Paula!

Best cranberrys I've ever had at Thanksgiving. The only complaint is that we had a ton left over. We scaled the recipe down for 12 oz of fresh cranberries and it probably would have served 12+ people... at least at our dinner it would have. Very good flavor combination.

This is simple and very pretty cranberry sauce. My ten year old son choped the apples and nuts,And my eight year old son did all the measuring. We made it the day before, and it was so good with our Thanksgiving dinner,We even fed it to my one year old son, he loved it. Thanks Mrs. Paula.

This was super simple, with outstanding flavor and texture. It is just the right balance of sweet and tart. I substituted orange juice for the Grand Marinier, cut back on the cinnamon (1/8 teaspoon and left out the nutmeg. I didn't know whether to peel the apple or not, but I did and it worked out fine.

This is the only recipe I will ever use! My boyfriend and I love cranberry sauce, but this was beyond anything we have had before! We made two batches, and my family devoured it for Thanksgiving! We were all eating spoonfuls of it with each bite of turkey (and the turkey was amazing too!. Thanks Paula, this is awesome!

This was very nice. I used Amoretta because thats what I had and I thought it was perfect. I can't wait to try it on a sandwich.....I'm sooo bad!

I made this on the fly today, when hubby brought home fresh cranberries instead of the dried ones on my list. Anyway, it turned out pretty good. I had no lemons or Grand Marnier, so I increased the oj to compensate. Didn't add raisins or nuts either.

I did have to cook it much longer than 15 minutes to get the apples to a preferred level of tenderness and to get the sauce to thicken.

For me it seemed like the amount of nutmeg was a bit overpowering. Next time I do it I think I'll cut it in half. Other than that it was fantastic!

I made a batch of this and a batch of the 'classic' cranberries only sauce, and this one wins for sure. the nuts add some great texture.
