The combination of the cinnamon flavor with the cranberry, chopped apples and the orange liquer make this the BEST cranberry sauce I have ever had. I made this recipe at a Thanksgiving gathering for an army and I noticed a few other people brought the canned cranberry sauce and left it on the table. I brought this large bowl of cranberry sauce in and the moment the turkey was served, EVERYONE rushed to get this cranberry sauce on their turkey RATHER than the gravy and, of course, the canned cranberry sauce!!! It was very laughable!! The canned cranberry sauce ended up being left untouched and this one that I brought ended up being served not only on Turkey but also on the vanilla ice cream for dessert (pretty good idea, actually! WORDS TO THE WISE THAT ARE COOKING FOR THANKSGIVING: DO NOT BUY THE CANNED CRANBERRY SAUCE; MAKE THIS ONE INSTEAD!!!!

I have made this for many years now and it is truly the most wonderful Cranberry Sauce my family and I have ever had. I love the textures and the flavors that come out of this recipe! It is a really great addition to the Turkey dinner. Everytime I have made this for friends they all ask for the recipe.

I didn't have Grand Marnier so substituted 1/2 a can of OJ concentrate and fresh orange zest. This was my favorite leftover from Thanksgiving - next year I will make a double batch!

I made this just for the fun of it (had the cranberries and wanted to use them. Wow! It was delicious! I'll be making it on a regular basis now and definitely give it as gifts during the holidays next year! Try it!

This is the best cranberry sauce recipe that I have found to date. It was a hit even with non-cranberry sauce eaters.

This recipe is delicious! We used "mixed" raisins and "raw" cane sugar in it and it was great! My girlfriend is gorgeous!
