Best I've ever made, but did change the recipe a bit. Used 24 oz of cranberries instead of 16 oz. I didn't adjust the recipe , just added extra cranberries, and it was plenty sweet. I toasted the walnuts a little, used dried cherries instead of raisins and added a bit of ginger powder because I was low on cinnamon. The Grand Marnier (I used Triple Sec was a unique and delicious addition.

Some people go strait towards the turkey at thanksgiving, nope not me I go strait towards the cranberry sauce. This is so amazing, it's everything you want, if you are looking for a good recipe that will please your family, and try to get the best get this one and i am sure you will like it.

Excellent!! We used honey instead of sugar but everything else was per recipe - loved the blend of flavors. My 23 year old son made this while I was making stuffing - easy to follow the recipe and he was happy to contribute to the big Thanksgiving meal.

So good...this is the first time I made homemade cranberry sauce. Did not use the Grand Marnier or raisins. Will use a little less lemon juice next time. Will use this recipe again. :

Wow! I don"t even like cranberries. I put in a splash of brandy( and drank the rest of the bottle because I didn't have the Marnier. Will make again!

Out of this world good! I did make it with the Grand Marnier and feel that it compliments the dish perfectly. Cannot wait to serve it tomorrow during Thanksgiving dinner..I'm sure I will remake it for Christmas and may do a little extra to give out to friends and neighbors.

We had an early Thanksgiving dinner last night, and this sauce was a hit!!! Will definitely become a staple for our feast in years to come.

I am asked to make this at every family holiday dinner. I make it exactly except without the grand marnier. Everyone loves it!

I am not the greatest cook in the world, so I was looking for something easy to prepare as a contribution for Thanksgiving. This sauce turned out great! The nuts compliment the spiciness of the nutmeg and the orange essence is noticeable, but not overpowering. (I did not have the Grand Marnier, so I did what other users suggested & used orange juice. Everything blended in well, so that one flavor does not take over. My only complaint was with the cranberries themselves. Maybe mine were not ripe enough, but they were extremely tart. (I did use with another brand that I was not familiar with. Next time I may substitute pears for the cranberries (as suggested by a previous post, but this sauce is very tasty, unique & has a pleasant texture. Keeping my fingers crossed that the family will enjoy it as much as I do.
