I must have done something wrong. This was amazing while it was cooking. The whole kitchen smelled wonderful. The taste?... not so good. The spices were overpowering. Might try again just to see if I erred somewhere.

I made this for Thanksgiving this year and everyone (including myself was extremely impressed! I let the sauce simmer for a few more minutes than instructed to thicken it further. I tried that canned cranberry sauce we're all familiar with once when I was a child and never touched the stuff since. This was the first cranberry sauce I've had in probably twenty years and now it will be a Thanksgiving staple!

SO GOOD! This definitely came out super good even though normally I do NOT like orange juice or zest in my cranberry sauce. The only mods I did was a little less grand mariner and no raisins (can't stand raisins, haha But other than that this was absolutely yummy, just enough different from regular cranberry but not so much that the cranberry didn't still stand out. Super yummy and fun to make something other than plain cranberry sugar and water: VERY easy to make

Made this last Thanksgiving and it was a big hit! I also didn't use the Grand Mariner, but substituted orange juice and it was tasty. I would recommend following the cooking directions carefully because I made it again at Christmas and I think I cooked it too hot - the cranberries burst sooner than the first time and it was pretty tart. Just a word of advice. You know if it's a Paula Deen recipe you can't go wrong.

This is the best recipe ever. I tried Guys, which I had to throw away. I've never made cranberry sauce and was afraid to try it. My family and friends are of Pakistani decent and not use to traditional american fare and everyone loved this. The nuts and fruits together give it a great flavor. We also don't drink so I used orange concentrate as someone else suggested and I also added pecans.

I substituted pineapple for grand mariner & it turned out great. I didn't want to buy grand mariner, since I don't use it for anything else. It's tangier than regular cranberry jelly, but that's a good thing!

This is incredible! I substituted Triple Sec for the Grand Marnier, which made it a little too tangy. So I just added more sugar. But this is definitely a keeper for the holidays! From now on, when we have family gatherings at Thanksgiving, I'm volunteering to bring the cranberry sauce!

This sauce was very tasty and very easy to make. I substituted Old French Brandy for the Grand Marnier and it was amazing. I also added the juice from a quarter lime as well. My husband, who hates everything cranberry, even said "it was pretty good"
