I used dried cherries instead of candied, but other than that I made no changes. They were so good and I had to make myself stop eating them! Definitely keeping this recipe.

These cookies were so easy to make and were a HUGE hit at our family cookie baking day. Remained fresh for alot longer than other cookies (about 5 days in a cellophane gift bag. They also transported very well. Also used dried cherries instead of candied and white chocolate chips instead of the chunks with great results. Cookies were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fabulous! This will be my new staple for a dessert to take to family functions..

This is such a simple recipe, but sooooo good. Nice and crunchy. I made them as part of my Christmas goodies this year and they were a huge hit. The only change I made was to halve or quarter the candied cherries and I used 3/4 c. rather than 1/2 c. of cherries. Definitely a keeper.

Very easy to do, I made a double batch and the cookies remained moist and chewy. I had to substitute regular dried cherries rather than candied cherries as the candied were not available in our stores (sold out, it made them a little less sweet and with a bit of tart they were excellent.

The recipe was easy to follow and my family LOVED it. I had to make another batch the very next day. I would suggest, as with most cookies, to chill the batter in the freezer for an hour or so before you put them on the pan. Also, the second time I made them, I used a cup of cherries instead of 1/2 cup and also chopped them in half for more even distribution. They were much better this way. Another great recipe from Paula!

I have made this cookie recipe several times over the last couple of years for holiday parties to cookie swaps. Everyone LOVES them!! The only thing I do differently is add 1/2 cup more cherries. Using only the 1 stick of butter that the recipe calls for makes the cookies lighter and fluffier than the two sticks of butter which some reviewers added. (I have tried both ways. Thank you again, Paula! You never disappoint!!

Best cookies ever! My first time baking cookies from scratch, so I followed the recipe (but I did substitute the chocolate and cherries for peanut butter chocolate chips. They kept well over the two days that they lasted (SO GOOD!...I was amazed that they stayed soft!!

CAUTION: You will never buy pre-made cookies again!

These are so good and so easy to make. I did make a few adjustments to the recipe, I used 1 cup craisens (cherry flavored instead of the candied cherries and I also only used 1 cup white chocolate chips. They came out fluffy and moist. I will definatly be making them again.
