My hubby and I got to make these (well actually, just me becase he was asleep LOL well anyways, it tasted SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! I reccomend this for kids adults teens elderly people todlers babies and everyone who is ready to go to the place above. I even got to feed it to him even tho he was still asleep! when he woke up he was covered in white Chocolate because it melted. He got a REAL bad burn because it was a real hot day. : ( He is in the hospital right as we speak, still burned....but still. I mean, who cares!? LOL Rock on Paula! You go gurl!

I love Paula's recipes; however, this particular cookie which she makes for her son, Michael, is sickening sweet -- for our family anyway. I don't mind a nice sugar cookie but the sweetness in this recipe is way over the top. I am going to try to cut down and experiment with the sugar content, but if I experience the same result, I will not make these cookies again. :(

I made these cookies for the first time to try them out. They came out fine, my husband liked them. I had to add more milk to my batter because after following the recipe exactly, I had a bowl full of crumbs. I substituted dried cranberries. I do agree with one of the reviews that this is fairly costly to make, because of the macadamia nuts.

These cookies were a big hit with the grandchildren and the adults. They look really festive when put on a Christmas cookie dish. Yummy!

not great either. You must only use a stick of butter not a cup, the recipe is wrong. These were ok, I dont know if the cherries are a good idea, I bought the ones in a plastic tub, they were ok. Maybe it would be better if you used gourmet cherries. A little to sweet, I even cut the white sugar down to 3/4 cup.

Because of the previous reviews, I modified this recipe by using 1 stick of butter (instead of 1 cup and 1 1/2 cups of red & green marachino cherries (drained & halved. The cookies looked very festive and were very good! I plan to bake more of these for Christmas.

These cookies were just delicious. After chilling the dough and the cookie sheets and the cookie scoop, we did not have trouble with them flattening out. Thanks Paula!

Excellent cookies, but the recipe made a mistake. Instead of 1 cup of butter its 1 stick. Otherwise they are flat.
    And add more cherries.

This recipe looks very easy and the tip she gave about fixing the batch up ahead of time is a really big time saver. I'm baking these for my office party.
