Everyone enjoyed this recipe, and wanted me to incorporate it when we have special events, but I say, Why wait!!! Excellent basic recipe that you can enjoy with different combination of ingredients. Thanks!

I made these last nite and they are to die for!! I did use cranrasins as others had suggested and was most happy with the results. Try these, I can't see that you would be dissapointed.

These are great- as mentioned I used a stick of butter, not a cup, and used more candied cherries which I put through a food processor a little to chop them up. My cookies did not go flat, could be the fact I used just the stick of butter but I did not use softened butter, I instead cut the cold butter into pieces and using the electric mixer mixed into the sugars. It did not cream as mentioned. I did have to add a 3rd tlbsp of milk at the end.

My whole family LOVED the cookies! They were perfect!!! I'm with everyone else on the cherries though, next time I will add some more. They were absolutely fabulous though. I will definately be making them again!!!

I made this recipe for a white chocolate lover and it was fantastic! I was nervous after reading some of the other reviews, but I used one stick of butter, doubled the amount of cherries (I used cherry-flavored Craisinsand had no problems with the cookies flattening. If the cookies are too sweet, I would recommend using less white chocolate instead of cutting back on the sugar.

These are the best cookies I have ever eaten. The cookies have everthing I love, white chocolate, cherries and macadamia nuts. Plus they are easy to make.

My family loved it. I made 3 batches and it was all gone in less than a week. I used 3/4 cup white chocolate, 3/4 cup of both sugars. Doing this made the recipe less sweet. If you use butter (like the recipe ask for and don't grease the cookie sheet: the cookies will not be flat.
