They didn't come out as well as I had hoped. They were really large, and I was hoping for more of a flat cookie. They just don't look as appetizing as the picture depicted. Still yet to try, but I'm hoping they're delicious. Fun to make though!

Great recipe! I made this last christmas and everyone loved it! They all thought it was store bought LOL. Going to make it again this christmas, but this time with a half cashew nuts and craisins.

This batter is a great base for just about any mix in. I followed what others said and used 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter, 350 degree for ~10minutes. I also didn't make them as big....more like 1/2 a rounded tbsp.

My mix ins were dark choco chips, dried cranberries, and walnuts. Slightly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect!

My dough ended up very stiff and my cookies were better looking but the dough is very sweet. I too used dried cherries which saved the cookie but I suspect it would be better with a lot more cherries to offset the sweetness. Other option would be to cut back on sugar but that's what gives it a nice chewy texture so it's a toss up.

Super tasty, I can't stop eating them. I made this batch for home, but now I think I will also use it for the cookie swap at work. I did use and extra 1/2 stick of butter as well as dried cherries. Perfect!

I think these cookies taste like the dough and need more flavor. I baked them perfectly and they still tasted doughy to me.

I made these last night for a Christmas present... and he ate the whole plate before he left my house! I had to fill it up again! I used ghiradelli white choc chips instead of chunks - subbed crushed almonds for 1/2 the macademia nuts - and dried cherries instead of candied cherries. They were moist and chewy inside... tons of flavors going on! Great recipe... make these!!!

These cookies are just ok. I don't really get all the great reviews. They're super super sweet with the white chocolate and I was hoping they'd look a little more festive. Overall they just didn't impress me, and I'm usually pretty easy to please when it comes to dessert. It's disappointing because I spent quite a bit of money on the cherries and nuts and used a ton of brown sugar, butter, and flour. Wouldn't make them again.

Loved these cookies! Just made them for the first time. I use one stick of butter and they came out fine. I kept them in the oven for 12-13 minute and they came out super chewy, fluffy and chunky! I did, however, swap candied cherries for maraschino cherries that I chopped up. Simply because I couldn't find the other! These are so sweet, you definitely need a cup of coffee for dunking! :
