    My family and I absolutely loved these cookies. They are a nice change from the traditional chocolate chip cookies. However, next time I will add more cherries!

    These cookies are a must-bake! I love white chocolate, so I thought they sounded wonderful with cherries added in. The only change I made is with the cherries. The recipe calls for "candied" cherries, but the ones I found at the store were the kind that are soaked in corn syrup and packed in a little plastic tub. My husband and I ate a couple out of the tub and almost died. They're kind of hard, and really chewy (not so much in a good way and they don't have much cherry flavor. Seeing as how cherries are a main part of the cookies, I used some dried cherries and they are wonderful! They made the white chocolate cherry chunkies so yummy...they're sweet and tart! It really is better to use the dried cherries instead of the candied cherries. Everyone, you must try these. Paula hasn't let me down yet, and these are great for the holidays!

    I made these recently with great success. My wife and I loved them. She took some to work and got lots of positive comments. I would add more cherries next time. No problem flattening out but I mixed the dough pretty well. I also cooked on parchment paper and the cookies were done in 7 - 8 minutes. Watch them carefully so they don't burn.

    I too found they were flatter than Paula's and I will add more cherries next time. My grocery store was out of the candied cherries, so I substituted marachinos. I cut them in quarters and dried them on a paper towel to eliminate as much moisture as possible. I thought they were yummy. I have luck with flat cookies by using half shortening and half butter in replace of all butter cookies. I will try this next time.

    I found the dough too sticky and had
    to add 1/2 cup flour - also, next time
    I will cut the amount of white chocolate
    and increase the amount of cherries!

    They are delicious although I will also add a bit more cherries. Mine did not flatten. I used Nucoa margarine and red & green cherries. They looked as good as they taste. Thanks Paula

    These cookies were a big hit! I would recommend adding more cherries as some of the cookies didn't have any in them, but overall they were great!

    My cookies also flattened out and did not look too apetizing. I also think you should add more cherries. As for sweetness, a little less sugar will probaby help. I will try making these again but can anyone tell me how to avoid them flattening out?

    The cookies taste fantastic, the ingredients were a bit costly, but they came out very flat. Are they suppose to be like this? I even chilled the dough thinking they would not spread out as much. Since they spread so much, they were quite crunchy. But they taste delicious.
