Paula I don't know if you read these are not. I baked this pie for our youth groups fundraiser this Sunday. It took first place, with twice the amount of votes than any other desert got. Needless to say it is a great desert. I made it the other night when we had our pastor's over for dinner and they talked about it for two weeks.

I'm not sure what it was with this recipe, but this was the first thing I have made by Paula that just didn't work for my family. I think it was the orange with white chocolate that we didn't like. I gave it a 3 instead of a one because I think it was just a personal preference. I don't want to down grade a recipe because of my personal taste.

II haven't made this pie yet because I was wondering if you had to freeze the pie or if you could just place it in the fridge. I don't have enough room in my freezer.

My grand daughter saw Paula make this pie today and wanted to make it. So, off to the store we went.We made it just as the recipe is written. She loves it. She keeps saying it is so creamy. My husband says it is delicious. I would make this again. Thanks for the yummy pie.

So easy. I used the entire 8 oz block of cream cheese and finely granulated sugar (I never use regular table sugar when using cream cheese. The second time I made it I added a teaspoon of almond extract instead of the orange zest. Oh my! It added such a surprising background flavor. And instead of the ganache I drizzled ice cream topping - the kind that gets hard - but I just drizzled and I let the guests add their own whipped topping if they want. It's a great company dessert.
