Ingredients
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups half-and-half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Vanilla whipped topping, for garnish
  • Mint leaf, for garnish
Directions

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted. Stir in the half-and-half, and vanilla extract. Stir occasionally until heated through. Pour into mugs and top with a dollop of vanilla whipped topping and garnish with mint leaf.

    sooooo good!!!
    I cut this recipe in half and used 2% milk instead of half and half... it was delicious and just enough for two mugs- one for me, one for the boyfriend. This is definitely a sweet treat, but it makes up fast and uses things we keep in the house. Maybe next time I'll use milk chocolate chips and peppermint instead of vanilla. :D
    Great tasting White Choc Coco. I used the low fat half and half for less calories and fat without compromising taste. Thanks Paula for another good recipe!
    Oh my goodness!!! So good not to sweet just perfect. 
    This is very sweet, but tasty, but obviously in moderation. 
    Sandra Lee's recipe packs a punch for adult tastes and the Splenda recipe saves a few thousand calories.

    This is amazing but a little sweet . I add coffee to it and it was so good.
    Just made this tonight and it was AMAZING! I saw the episode this was on and it was a christmas special and instead of the vanilla extract she used peppermint extract. thats what i did tonight, and garnished with some crushed candy cane bits on top of the whipped cream dollop and oh boy was it good! very festive and rich :) will def make again, especially during the holidays
    I love white chocolate and hot chocolate! The kids and I love this recipe!! On these cold winter nights it tastes so good! I've never had white hot chocolate but this was delicious!!!

    Wow. Loved it. I made it for my kids and myself today - on a very cold day. It was perfect. Not too sweet as I had feared since white chocolate is usually over the top sweet. It was incredible and I will make it again - probably tomorrow!

    I made this for my kids as a dessert using skim milk in place of half and half saving fat and calories. You would have never known. It was rich and creamy and oh so good. Next time I'm going to try peppermint extract or maybe coconut. Love you Paula.

    I made this for my husband who loves white chocolate. I'm not a fan of it, but this recipe was awesome. Not too sweet, very smooth and rich, I loved it.
    My husband was skeptical about this one when I did breakfast Christmas morning. I had never has white hot chocolate before but Paula has never failed me yet. My husband and I fell in love with this and will keep it as part of our Christmas morning breakfast.
    On a recent trip to the mountains, I grabbed a cup of white hot chocolate instead of coffee...my usual. I was almost as thrilled with that cup as I am with this recipe.
     
    Simple ingredients, easy to make and what wonderful flavor. This will be a constant in my home on cold nights from here on out, including Christmas Eve. I know my family & friends will love it as much as I do.
    I made a cup full for my girlfriend for breakfast (SHE and I both LOVED IT!). I think this one landed me some brownie points.

    I was a little skeptical about this hot chocolate at first. The only ingredient it had to make it sweet was the white chocolate chips, and the that didn't seem like much to me considering how much cream was going to go in. Despite my fears of not being sweet enough, it was almost too sweet. It was smooth and delicious and a great alternative to regular hot chocolate. I loved it and will make this recipe for many years to come.
    This is the BEST hot chocolate I have ever had. I followed the recipe as it was. It was very easy. I put marshmallows in mine; it did NOT need it. It was sweet and super creamy without them. What I had left-over I used the next morning in my coffee.
    This was absolutely the best recipe that I could find for white hot chocolate. Makes more than 4 servings and I added a little more than a cup of white chocolate. It was soooo good.
    I'm not a fan of white chocolate, so I subbed in semisweet chips. I also topped it with homemade peppermint marshmallows and it was soooo good! Very rich though, so use small mugs!
    This Recipe is Rich/Smooth and Deliciious! Very good and something different then the traditional hot chocolate!!
