Ingredients
- 1 quart water
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
- 5 black peppercorns
- 2 (1 1/2-pound) whole lobsters
Directions
Fit a very large stockpot or soup pot with a rack or an upside-down heat-proof plate on the bottom. This will keep the lobsters out of the water so they will steam cook instead of boil. Then combine all the ingredients except for the lobsters and bring to a boil. Place the lobsters on the rack, cover tightly with the lid and turn the heat to low. The lobsters will steam in approximately 7 minutes.

I also had never cooked lobster before. I was looking for a simple way to cook lobster tails. This is the one! My lobster tails came out flawless. You would think that the lobsters came from a five star restaurant. I even surprised myself. I wish that I could post the pictures that I took of my perfect meal.

Lobster came out perfectly. Never cooked a lobster before and was concerned about ruining something I had paid so much for. Two perfect lobsters. One romantic diner.
