    When I saw this on the show, I thought I'd make it this week. Trouble was, I couldn't find oysters (out of season! So I substituted crab claw meat and shrimp.

    I used 2% milk instead of half & half and simply prepared the boxed rice by the directions on the back, leaving out some of the butter as well.

    This may become one of our favorite dishes (favorite for me because it's quick and favorite for my partner because it's tasty. So maybe I didn't make the recipe exactly, but it served as an excellent springboard for ideas.
