I took her idea and made it simple. Box cake, marshmellow cream and heat and pour frosting. Everyone loved it and it was gone gone gone. I liked the interesting idea of adding marshmellow cream to a cake. Clever!

This was easy to make and could rival any fancy restaurant dessert. Only cut small pieces beacause it is very chocolate and rich! Want to make an impression- serve this!

When I poured the frosting over marshmallows it seemed to be real gritty is this normal or did I miss a step.

Unlike the other reviews, I happen to like my fudgy icing a little gritty.....reminds me of the icing my grandmother used to make. And I loved all the chocolate with the marshmallows and nuts. I would make this again. My only regret is using the marshmallow cream made it very soft...would try the marshmallows next time. Liked the flavor with the marshmallow cream but not the mess....LOL.

Cake was okay but mini marshmallows did not melt completely and icing was gritty. It's not likely I'll make this again but if I did I would try marshmallow creme and cooking the icing a bit to try to eliminate the grit.

This cake is delicious but the problem with it is that it's not really set up for several hours afterwards. I made it 4 days ago and it still tastes as good as the first day. Also, after putting the marshmallows on the cake, I stuck it back in the oven for a few minutes. It made the marshmallows slightly toasted and divine!
