This was really good, but I like extra garlicy and not too much butter, so I used all of the garlic and half the butter.

The garlic bread was good, but there was to much butter. I also used french bread instead of sourdough bread and it was good, but there still was to much butter.

I was a little leary - 1 whole head of garlic?! - but it was not overpowering at all. It was some of the most delicious garlic bread I've made! Now I love my butter BUT I didn't use it all on the bread because it seemed like so much. I froze the extra (probably equivalent to half a stick + to use next time. Delicious!

The garlic butter spread is fantastic, but a little too much. Next time I will cut the butter in half and will try it on italian bread. The sour dough was a little heavy.

I only used 1 stick of butter for 1 loaf of Italian bread and it was still too much. I would cut it to half a stick and try it again.

Even though I could not get the roasted garlic to "just pop out" like Paula does, it was the best bread I have ever eaten.
I must admit, I added an Italian season blend that was purchased in New Braunfels, Texas to the garlic butter, instead of just parsley. It was very tasty!

It was amazing! I probably will make this for the rest of my life. Next time I would use 1 1/2 sticks of butter instead of 2, and I used french bread instead of sourdough. SO GOOD!

This is a great simple recipe. The roasted garlic butter spread is sooo good. I could not help but to keep trying it while I was cooking. I mean I forgot it was butter! lol. This spread would be good on steak or anything! It was very good and had a great flavor!
