Way too sweet. cut the sugar to 2 cups. Tasted more like cake less like bread to me. First time I made zucchini bread. will try another recipe next time.

This is the best bread ever! I use zucchini and banana and add roasted pecans. EVERYONE loves it! I usually double the recipe and freeze 3 loaves in air tight freezer Ziplock bags. This bread is definitely a staple in my home! Thank you so much, Paula!

After receiving a bunch of fresh zucchini from a coworker last week, i found this recipe and followed it as is. It turned out great. I made it again today and cut back to 2 1/2 cups sugar and added 1 tsp vanilla extract. My family couldn't tell the difference. It was excellent both times. Can't stop munching on this bread!

I read most of the reviews before I made this recipe. I made it exactly as is and it turned out great! It is a little on the sweet side though. The next time I make it, I'll use only two cups of sugar. But my point is....it was delicious as is.

If you live at high altitude this recipe is not for you! It does taste great....just didn't work for me at 7,000 feet. Boo.

This is my go-to recipe to use up all those *cough* mammoth zucchini growing wild in my back yard. I have made this recipe often, and don't pay any particular attention to how its made... I just toss everything in and mix, and it comes out great every time. I use two bread pans, one that is a little wider and takes a longer baking time.

Deliciousness! I did follow other readers advice and reduced sugar to 1 1/2 cups, and only 3/4 cup of oil, 1/2 cup extra zucchini, and added 1 tbls of molasses. My 5 yrs old and 2 1/2 yrs old picky eaters devoured a mini loaf of bread straight out of the oven. Yummy!

I love this recipe as my base - i increase the zucchini by a cup or more, cut on the oil and sugar slightly, then add cocoa and a handful of white chocolate chips. The white chocolate melts and disappears into the bread - totally moist and yummy!

I love this recipe, but I like to change it up alittle to make it healthier. I cut to the sugar in half to 1-1/2 cups and add dollup of molasses and then added an extra cup of shredded zucchini (since I had it. I really don't miss all that sugar. I got the idea with some desserts from Japan...We tend to over sweeten everything. Try it!!
