Great recipe. Instead of celery I used green apples, and instead of sour cream i used a little honey flavored greek yogurt. Came out delish!

My family enjoyed the recipe, and I will make it again. Just be sure to salt and pepper it correctly, otherwise it does not taste right.

This recipe was delicious! I used light mayo, and substituted the sour cream with greek yogurt. I also added cranberries and green onion. Everyone at my home loved it.

so good and really easy to make! I agree that adding red grapes next time would be a great addition!

Oh, my goodness! An ice cream scoop??!! What brilliance! And all this time I've been using a wheel bearing cover from my 92 Chevy truck.

Very good. The grocery store I shopped at actually didn't have basil which was a bummer but I made it anyways without. I added red grapes, used a rotisere chicken and agree that you don't need all the dressing.

If you like basil, you will really like this. I toasted the almonds in a skillet. Add the cream/mayo mixed to taste. I ended up not using all, because of preference.

I agree with those of you who have stated that "alorea" ought to get her act together! The statement regarding Paula serving the chicken salad with "an ice cream scoop" showed a definite lack of "couth" not to mention "no class"! GO PAULA!!

While this was not terrible, it was definitely NOT wonderful !! I'm looking for a chicken salad recipe that will knock my socks off & this just didn't do it.
