This was a welcome change from regular french toast. The syrup does get sticky as it cools.

Really delicious. excluded some of the ingredients but still turned out delicious. I let them sit out a bit and then put the bananas and syrup on and it was just at the right temperature. Definitely have to make again! I recommend it to anyone who loves french toast.

The actual french toast was fine. The syrup topping was OK but did not add much except for the bananas.

Like the other reviewers have said, this french toast was a delicious and different spin on the traditional recipe. The bananas foster additions made it special. I made this for Mother's Day brunch and didn't change a thing! It is sweet, but not TOO sweet. Everyone loved it and had seconds. My husband, who does not care for sweets at breakfast, loved it! I will be making this again for sure!!

Made this for Easter Brunch....It was so quick and easy to make and my family loved it! I cut the recipe in half, since there are only four of us. Will definitely make this again when we have company...Very impressive!

This was a big disappointment!! It was much too sweet!! I went by the recipe exactly. I will not try again or even try to alter it in any way. This is one of the few recipes that I will toss of Paula Deen's. Sorry, but just not worth the effort and ingredients.
