This is almost the same as I make it, only I mix the ingrediants in. Instead of crackers we make toast! Cut each piece of toast into 4's. You can do it ahead of time and place it back in the bread bag - it doesn't loose anything.

This dip was delicious, everyone loved it. It was the first to go at our party. Make sure you use a heavy cracker or bagel chips like Paula suggests.

I was hesitant about this dip but like the prior review said...the dip goes so quickly at a party since it is so tasty. I folded in bacon and tomatoes in the dip besides putting these two ingredients plus the lettuce on top. I used extra bacon/tomatoes of course. It was a hit. And will now serve it Christmas day!! Thanks!

This is a dip, not a sandwich. Most dips are Mayo and Sour Cream. What's your problem??

For those who complained that this was a fatty recipe from the fifties....it is easy to lighten up. I used fat free mayo and sour cream and used the Oscar Meyer center cut bacon and it was still a hit. I have made it both ways and no one could tell the difference, it is ALWAYS a crowd pleaser. I will continue to make this one.

This recipe is so easy to throw together, and every time I make it for a party, everyone raves about it. It's always the first dip that is gone. I often mix the bacon into the mayo mixture, and it's great.

I have made this for a while and the best cracker to use for it are Deli Style Rye Triscuits. I'll be honest I wasn't a believer when I heard it because I never have a BLT on Rye but one taste and I was sold!

When I first read this recipe I wasn't too sure about it but figured I'd give it a try. I didn't think it would have much flavor-boy was I wrong! It is delicious!! I mixed the bacon in with the sour cream/mayo mixture and topped with tomatoes and a few french fried onions. (no lettuce here-I didn't want it to get soggy It was perfect!
