This recipe was a great surprise. I am always trying to come up with new party appetizers and this one was great. I had a lot of compliments and almost everyone who ate it wanted the recipe. My serving suggestion is to layer it in a baking dish with a serving spoon so that it can easily be put onto the bagel chip. I can't wait to make it again.

Everyone at the party loved this one.
Maybe add a little spice to mayo and sour cream

When I read the recipe I thought how could something so simple be so flavorful? This is outstanding!! It takes very little prep but the combo of flavors is great. I took it to a meeting last night and it was devoured and everyone wanted the recipe. I added a little sharp cheddar and some green onions on top and served it with the sea salt bagel chips. We will be eating this often. Please try!!!

I made this for a 4th of July gathering and it was a big hit! I added a bit of sugar to my mayo/sour cream mixture...just to tone it down a bit. In addition to the bacon, lettuce and tomato, I added shredded cheddar and green onion. I served this with melba toast. YUM!

I followed the recipe exactly and everyone loved it. Next time I will put it into a shallower bowl/dish . We used a spoon to scoop out onto a plate. Used Triscuits, but I would like to try bruschetta in the future.

I made this for a little get-together with friends. I thought is was pretty good. For our next get-together, I was going to make something else, but everybody is clamoring for an encore. What can I say?

I changed the mayo misture to 2 parts mayo 1 part sour cream and 1 part cream cheese. I blended those in the food processor and then stirred (pulsed in half of the bacon bits. The recipe seems to call for making this like a layered dip (ala seven layer dip. I altered the recipe so that I could make a mound of the misture and placed on a bed of the lettuce with the remaining bacon and tomato.
