I drizzled the tops of these with melted white chocolate mixed with a splash of almond flavoring. Cut the bitterness of the cream cheese and made them fabulous!

I made these as one of my Valentines desserts. OMG. they are so quick to make and SO delicious! My only modification (not a pecan fan - i crumbled graham crackers and topped with that instead of the nuts. Tasted JUST like cheesecake! Will totally make these again - such a hit!

Amazing! They go quick and everyone asks how to make them. Have also topped them with mini chocolate chips for those who don't like nuts and they are wonderful.

Love this recipe! I brought them to an end of the summer cookout and they were a hit! I didn't have a pastry bag so I just used a plastic sandwich bag and cut the tip off. Instead of pecans I just melted some chocolate and drizzled it over the top. They were all gone before I got to have one! Simple and tasty, what more can you ask for?

I LOVE this recipe! They are such a hit with everyone who tries them. You wouldn't think nuts on a strawberry would be good, but it adds an interesting flair to the recipe. I like the other ideas people have used to top the cream cheese with. It is a good option to use verse the nuts since some people I know are allergic to nuts. This way they can enjoy them too!

This is a great idea! I made them the first time with marscapone and did some topped with a blueberry, chopped pistachios, and chopped almonds. The chopped nuts were not anyone's favorite. They were the last ones left on the platter. I made them again with cream cheese to compare and we all agreed the marscapone was better. Next time I'm going to try drizzling chocolate on them. There's so much you can do with these and with strawberries in season, these are delicious and fresh.

This recipe is delicious and such a hit. I make it with the almond extract, but without the nuts and put a blueberry on top to make it red, white & blue.

I use mascarpone instead of cream cheese and get soooo many compliments! I've never used the nuts, but have topped them with blueberries - talk about patriotic! - and a tiny chocolate chip. If you want to make points at a party, make these!
