I must have missed the TV demo when Paula mixed the vegetables into sauce. When I went to make it I realized the recipe I printed from online made no mention of the vegetables after they were steamed. I layered mine rather than mixing into the sauce. Still tasted good but too juicy this way. This posted recipe needs tweaking.

This recipe looks so very good, however, the written recipe does not completely match the demonstration.
Specifically: Concerning the cream cheese mixture, Paula clearly said, and used, 1/2 of an 8 ounce package of cream cheese.
Concerning the "sauce": Paula made the whole vegetable/tomato sauce mixture in one pot. During the first step, she added 2 diced garlic cloves into the vegetable mixture, and then cooked all as directed. BUT, HER next step was to add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, salt, pepper, and 2 MORE diced cloves of garlic to the vegetable mixture, covered and simmered 20 minutes.

Just to clear things up.... After you make the sauce, mix the vegetables with the sauce. When the recipe refers to layering the "sauce", it means the mixture of sauce/vegetables.

Just wanted to let you know that no where in the recipe does it mention when to layer the vegetable mixture into the lasagna.
