Really Gross. We threw it all out...what a waste! The nutmeg in it makes it have the most aweful flavor! Don't waste your time. Seriously!

This was the Best Meal! Made this breakfast meal for dinner and my family LOVED it! It was very simple and very filling;used regular bread and added spicy Jimmy Dean sauage and loads of cheese.

I fixed this dish for dinner and my family loved it. Everyone took seconds. It is quick and easy. It makes a lot of dirty dishes for a 'one dish' meal, but if you cook the hash browns in the same skillet as the sausage (after removing the sausage, you get the added flavor and save yourself another pan to wash. My son thought it would be great with bacon in it too. I followed the recipe this first time, but I could see adding mushrooms, bacon (watch the salt, broccoli, or spinach.

This was delicious! I used Jimmy Dean "Bold" country sausage and it added a spicy kick that we loved. I will be making this often!

I made this for my son and I. I cut the recipe in half and it was still good. I thought I need to cut the cook time in half but when I did that the inside was still to wet. I put the casserole back in for the same time as the full amount and it came out much better. I am also thinking of cutting the bread more. I will still cook it again.

I added a bit of fresh garlic to the onion mixture. Other than that, this recipe was easy and delicious. I especially enjoyed the fluffy texture. Most brunch dishes are more dense. I also liked the fact that it does not have to sit overnight. Thanks
