I couldn't find lady Fingers so I used pound cake. Otherwise I followed the recipe as is. I took this to an open house and it disappeared with rave reviews!!! Am making it again today. Quick, easy, sinfully rich and delicious!!!

I was nervous about making the dessert because some of the comments said it was too tart....but by the looks of the empty pan....I guess people really liked it. I did modify it a bit: Instead of the heavy whipping cream and cheese, I used 16oz of soft cream cheese with 1 large container of Cool Whip (I think that is 16 oz. I added about a cup of powdered sugar to that mixture....and then continued with the recipe.

I will DEFINITELY make this again.

I first made this about two years ago for our annual August Birthday Party and it was a huge hit! I have to make it every year now and it is a great staple recipe anytime I need to bring a dessert to a party or cookout. The flavors are just right for spring or summer! I think I went a little overboard on the blueberries, as I had to go back for a 2nd can of the pie filling, but since that's how everyone loved it, that's how I continue to make it. Sometimes I have a hard time finding lady fingers, but they are usually with the baking stuff or sometimes even by the strawberries in the produce section.

This was so good. I am not accustomed to seeing my husband eat sweets everyday. He ate, almost, as much as I did. I substituted the mascarpone cheese for some cream cheese that was recommended by one of the reviews. I also used Lemon instead of lime. I took some to work and my co worker enjoyed it. I will be trying this again. The next time I will try strawberries and lemonade juice.

Cant believe so many people say this is not sweet enough. A traditional tiramisu is made with mascarpone cheese and that filling is not supposed to be overly sweet. Adding more sugar to that on top of the sweetness of the blueberries sounds like it would be overkill. As previous poster said, leave the recipe alone.
For those who couldnt find ladyfingers, try a gourmet market or italian specialty/pork store if you have available in your area. Good luck!

I made this receipe last night word for word. I used frozen blueberries we had picked last summer. It was fabulous.

STICK to the recipe ladies. Everyone knows it's all well and fine to change, add and adjust a recipe anyway you want too, to make it your own....but only ONCE you have made it the way it was originally written. This recipe was written in a specific way by Paula and I followed it to the "T" it was fluffy slightly sweet with just enough tart to offset without being sour, the berries popped with each bite, it was a delight! Ladies try it again without making adjustments, if you can't find the specific ingrediants then go without the recipe until you have them.
It was under 15.00 for me to make it this and the family loved it. Once again a hit from Paula.
