    Seafood lovers...try this one.
We made exactly as written....delicious...texture and flavor.
Then we made same recipe again BUT made small meatballs...then rolled in flour, then egg then panko crumbs...quickly deep fried..
Again...this recipe made a delicious cocktail item.
    Try it...you'll like it!

For those that think they don't try cilantro; make half the mayo with it and half without - you'll agree that it is better with! I'm not generally a scallop afficiando as I don't enjoy the texture; but these were like a great crabcake only lighter. My husband left out the chive as he doesn't like the onion flavor much and I think it made the taste more delicate. He did them perfectly - and this recipe has been declared a keeper.

It is unfair to rate a recipe poorly because it has an ingredient, in this case cilantro, if you state you hate it in the first place. Of course you will not like the recipe if you do not like cilantro.

There was quite a bit of cilantro used, it was a little overpowering, but these burgers were very tasty. I ended up just frying the mixture in the pan and scooping it on my roll because they kept falling apart. I followed the recipe exactly, but I had no success with keeping the patty together in the pan. I also used the same recipe for burgers and my family loved it.

The were great and I made them twice. Hey Carlin, I heard Paula say 50th 3 times and wondered.
Second time I made the recipes I made them the size of hamburgers and will stick with that size.
    Love them!

These were so pretty, tasty and easy to prepare. And Lisbeth, Paula mentioned about 10 times during this episode that these were for her 60th birthday party.

Used basil from my garden because I hate cilantro! Sorry, but Ina doesn't like
    cilantro either.
I used panko crumbs, good crunch.
They were great and used them like burgers unstead of sliders
    Yummy!
Laughing @ Paula saying they were for her 50th. They didn't have sliders 13 years ago.

These are fantastic. I first made these for a backyard cookout 2 years ago and my guests are still raving about them

These were absolutely delicious. I used about half the amount of cilantro called for in the patties themselves, since cilantro can overpower a subtle flavor like scallops and it was perfect. I used the full amount of cilantro in the mayo however, and it was delicious as well. I substituted bay scallops for sea scallops since they were half the price, and the burgers didn't suffer in the least. I made them full burger size instead of minis and had no trouble getting them cooked all the way through. This was a fantastic recipe and I will definitely be making them again.
