This is a great recipe for doubling up for a crowd! It is now a standard at our big parties. Easy to prepare and fool proof too. Thank goodness for Paulas Home Cooking for using this recipe on the show. Angela -San Diego,CA

As a band booster at a performing arts school in Las Vegas we served these to band kids and parents at the conclusion of band camp. The recipe got rave reviews and many requests for the recipe. We served them again at at welcome dinner for our new band director. It is also greatly appreciated at our large family bbqs. A definite keeper. Many thanks to Sue and Gloria and Paula Deen for sharing it.

This is the 1st time I made the dish,
I did the baked beans without the pineapple, it came out FANTASTIC!!!
My husband almost ate 1/2 of it and he is a connoisseur of baked beans.
I think the crunchy onion is the main star.
So easy to make and so good.
    This is a keeper.

Made these for church cover dish (good cooks and they were not a hit. More went in the trash than was eaten. I will not make the mistake of making them again...donna

I found this recipe quite sweet before mixing in the pineapple, so I just left the pineapple out and increased the amount of fried onions....delicious!
