I tried these for the 4th of july. Very nice change with the addition of pineapple. Not too sweet. I liked using fried onions for a topping. Nice idea. Thanks Paula.

My husband loved these beans!! Said they were the best he'd ever had. Told me that if I made them once a week, that would be just fine with him.

Ok paula just to start off you are my best show on foodnetwork. But these beans those ladies had are not quiet my style. I used everything you used and cut some stuff down. I only used a half of a cup of molasses, and a little bit of bacon watching what i eat! lol But i think that the bbq sauce could have been cut down to atleast a 1/4 of a cup. I will try one more time ,but just wasnt to my liking. Keep them coming Paula this is the only one i havent liked yet!

yummy, but a bit too sweet. next time, add less sweetening, especially if you start with a sweet baked bean product.

Tried this out on my company at a July 4th bbq and it was a hit. Guests couldn't pinpoint the flavor until I revealed it had pineapple in it. They like the variation. As mentioned by another viewer, you would not like this recipe if you prefer a bold bbq beans flavor. This is a little on the sweet side. But to each his own tastebuds!!

recipe was easy and delicious!! I prepared them for the first time for a family gathering. Everyone loved them and voted me the official "baked bean" provider for future gatherings. Thanks

Recently hosted a family reunion - normally would not try an "untested" dish on company but if it's Paula it has to be good! These were the hit of the dinner and I ended up making copies of the recipe for everyone. The pineapple and the fried onions really makes them yummy! Will make again - half recipe next time - there are only 2 of us!

OVERLY sweet!! Sugarland. Did not care for. Prefer my own, sorry. Like mine tangy with some kick, no pineapple. Use real onions and Bell peppers.
