    I think I was expecting it to be better. But not bad, I think I might add some brown sugar if I do make these again. The pineapple was good alternative to the basic baked beans recipe.

    I thought the recipe could have been a little sweeter. I liked the pineapple idea however and may use it to adapt other recipes.

    Easy to make and a big, big hit (and I have 2 picky eaters in my family. Tasted greated and made the whole kitchen smell wonderful!

    We love baked beans, especially with molasses, but this recipe was a bit too rich even for us. I only made half the recipe and we still had over half left. Perhaps if it was served AS the meal instead of WITH a meal...
