I have made this recipe twice this week and both times it has been a hit. I have a recipe that I make that takes 10 hours in the oven and I cant make that one all the time. I will be using this one frequently this summer and in the future. I didnt find it to be overly sweet at all. The pineapples give it wonderful depth of flavor. I highly recommend this recipe.

Made this with hesitation for my grandsons' birthday party and everyone positively loved it. Rave reviews.

I was really excited to make this recipe because I love pineapple. It was okay...the two tastes just didn't mesh like I thought they would.

My husband always asks, "Why do you take a good recipe and change it?" Now he knows why. He loved this ... maybe more than my regular ol' Southern baked bean recipe. I cut the recipe in half since we are empty nesters and & I used light pancake syrup instead of the molasses. Definitely a different twist to a classic Southern dish. Will I be making this again ... you bet I will!

These were awesome. I LOVED the pineapple. These are the only beans I'll make! I didn't so the french fried onions though.

I have a similar recipe for baked beans and just love all the flavors together, the difference is I saute onions and bell peppers also. YUM YUM!!

Paula, I heard your story and I'm so glad you are now successful. I just love you and your show. Happiness always. Ellen

These are the best baked beans I have every tasted. I have cooked them in the oven as the recipe calls for, but have also used the slow cooker to free up oven space. Great for potlucks or family BBQ's.

These were way to tangy and I am so glad I tasted them before I took them to a church potluck. I did not serve them and I followed the recipe exactly. I also love baked beans. I would not make this recipe again.
