Excellent recipe - very yummy! Tweaked the recipe a bit by adding a tsp. of coriander and replaced 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1 tbsp. of Balsamic Vinegar. Also slow roasted on BBQ with Hickory Chips. Neighbours thought it smelled so good that I had to share recipe. Keep the great recipes coming Paula. Looking forward to trying many more. :

I really enjoyed the chicken. Juicy! Great flavor. Even my crusty old mother liked it!

I love this one...but no surprise there 'cause who could beat Paula Deen!! The chicken was moist and tender and I use the BBQ sauce on everything!

This had to be the moistest chicken I have ever cooked. I followed the recipe to the 't' with the exception of using white wine vinegar instead of apple cider, due to not having any on hand. I unfortunately did not heed the advice of others and used the full amount of vinegar called for. I completely agree that it was way to much and when I make this recipe again will only use the recommend amount of 1 TBS. I also applied the rub under the skin as recommended by others as we are not skin eaters. The flavor was so amazing. I will be making this again and again and again!!!

I love this recipe, I decided to do it for my daughter 1s birthday party, and everyone loved it. It is a hit. Now everytime I have a party or my church has a function, I make it. I don't use a whole chicken , I use wingette and drummettess and it tastes delicious, and I don;t use the beer also, everything else is the same.....maybe its not bber in the rear chicken but it works just as good!!!

So my grilfriend and i saw this recipe online and wanted to try it so we got our family's together and the men fired up the grill...we got the chicken ready and put it on the grill it cooked for 2 hours and still was not done so we put it in the oven and that took another 30min to cook the tast of the chiken was good but it didn't cook well on a small grill....we plane on retrying this recipe but we will be useing the oven not the grill!

Great chicken...very moist. I also found that there was too much vinegar in the BBQ sauce. I would start with half as much.
    5 stars nonetheless!
