This was my favorite lava cake recipe I've tried thusfar. I used vanilla extract instead of hazelnut extract and then added a dollup of nutella on top. I baked for 10 minutes and it came out perfect--oozing chocolate with nutella in the center and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Definitely recommend this recipe!

My guests and I loved this, but I had to have an assistant with all the serving things going on... the liquor, nuttella, icecream, to get it to the table hot...

It is the most impressive delicious dessert I make!

This recipe was so easy and delicious. I cut the recipe in half and didn't have any hazelnut'ish stuff on hand, so I cut that out and just topped with semi-sweet chocolate. Tip: When in doubt, take it out. If it looks like it's slightly set, take it out immediately.

A delicious, super easy recipe. Don't worry that it becomes stiff, almost unmanageable once you add the powdered sugar...as soon as you add the eggs it becomes fluid and smooth. A fabulous dessert that takes minutes to make. I didn't decorate with nutella...might have been chocolate overload!

excellent recipe! Better than Chart House!!! I added 2 T chocolate chips in the middle before baking into each cake - superb!
