These are a total hit in my house. They have a flavor like shortbread. My husband grew up in Germany and these remind him of his childhood. And my four kids can't get enough of them either! These are great with morning coffee, or as a not too sugary dessert.

This dessert is simple but fabulous and is definitely a crowd pleaser where ever it's served. It's moist, not over sweetened and decadent. Can be served with tea or alone.

I'm a sugar addict, but didnt seem to miss the sugar at all with these roll ups. Okay, I used craisins to make them sweeter, but they were delicious.

What I love about this recipe, is that there is no sugar used, and it couldn't be easier to make with just a few ingredients. Of course with two sticks of butter and a package of cream cheese, this is probably not the most figure friendly cookie :o Very good though! (I added a little lemon zest to my dough.

Very easy to make. I added about 1/4 c of splenda to recipe which added a slight sweetness to recipe and sprinkled less powder sugar when served.
Have added this to my collection of favorite recipes.

kids can help. taste is mouth watering.
Any that has kids this is a great recipe
I use craisins, that adds a little sweetness. It's is very nice not to have a buttery melt in your mouth cookie. reminds me of Germany. good job.
