THE BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE THE THING THAT MAKES STUFFED TOSTONES IS ONLY AT WWW.RIVERASTOSTONERA.COM. RIVERA'S TOSTONERA MAKES PLANTAINS IN CUPS, CHIPS, AND SLICES. THEY HAVE DIFFERENT COLORS, SIZES, SHAPES, PLASTIC, WOOD, AND ITS ALL 100% FDA APPROVED. THEY CAN EVEN CUSTOMIZE ONE FOR YOU WITH YOUR NAME AND ITS UNDER WARRANTY! NO OTHER PRODUCT CAN COMPARE. I RECOMMEND THE ONE AND ONLY RIVERA'S TOSTONERA!

I have tasted these stuffed tostones which are delicious but never have maded them. My and I husband watched the show and he loved the recipe so I purchased the tosonera stuffer at elColmadito.com just $4.99.

I found this recipe to be very easy to cook. I do not have the Plantain Smasher but plan to purchase one as soon as I find one. I enjoyed the show very much. A girlfriend made these about 35 years ago. It was the first and last time i had them. However, she soaked her plantains in salt water first. THANKS FOR BRINGING A MEMORABLE TIME BACK as I lost touch with her.
