Really good! I did use a stick of real butter instead of the crisco though.

I wanted to make this cookie for Christmas this year since it was a favorite of mine growing up. Unfortunately, I used a recipe from another site to make the first batch. They weren't the cookies I remembered. I decided to search for another recipe and used this one. Glad I did! I didn't have any shortening on hand so I used butter but they were still amazing. I'll be sure to try the shortening next time.

Great recipe to do with the little ones!! Followed the recipe and they were awesome! Definately a cookie i will do each year!!!

Followed the recipe pretty much exactly and they were perfect! I've never made them before so I was glad the first recipe I tried worked out so well! Making another batch right now!

Love this recipe!! The cookies aren't super sweet so the kisses balance them well. Definitely going to make these cookies in the future!

They're more festive than they are tastey. The kisses will fall off if stored in bags.
