These brownies are amazing! If you are a peanut butter fan than you will enjoy these brwonies. The peanut butter and the ganache topping really add to the already really good brownie recipe to make these brownies very taste! :

Holy Guacamole! These are The Bomb! I doubled the recipe and made them in a 9X 13 inch pan. Can't wait to bring them in to work tomorrow.....I bake a lot, and have hundreds of cookbooks and cookie recieps. This recipe will rise to my top ten list.

Being a peanut butter and chocolate lover...I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS RECIPE!!!! Amazing, to say the least. It's the perfect combination of peanut butter, chocolate, sweet, and salty. You can use about half the salt, but it really brings out the flavors (I'm a huge fan of mixing salt with sweets!
I make this all the time for family and co-workers. They can't get enough!!

The brownie base in this recipe was fantastic. It is hard to find a good homemade brownie that has both a fudge like consistency as well as a good crisp texture. The cookie dough took a little bit away from how classic and delicious the actual brownie was. I will be making the brownie base again. If you like peanut butter like myself you could add a peanut butter chip into the brownie subbing out some of the semisweet chocolate in the recipe.

Love this recipe..great all around. I also used a box brownie for ease but will try again with a homemade when I have more time. My only dislike was that the peanut butter layer did not see to adhere well to the brownie. Not a deal breaker but a little annoying.

I just made these over the weekend, so I could share them with my co-workers. Everyone loved them. One person said "That's heaven in a napkin." Another one said " I never get this excited about chocolate." Some people had more than one.

These were so easy to make. And you will be surprised by the flavor of the dark chocolate ganache. This recipe did not make enough. Next time I will have to double the recipe. That's how good they are. Result, empty pan. Can't wait to make them again.

This is a delicious rich dessert. Perfect combination! I didn't have any unsweetened chocolate squares so I used a substitute; 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa mixed with 1 tablespoon of melted butter which creates one ounce of unsweetened chocolate square. I decided that this recipe needed a little calorie cut down. So for the brownie batter, I replaced 4 T of butter with 4 tablespoons of applesauce. And for the peanut butter dough, I replaced 2 T of butter with 2 T of applesauce. Also for the PB dough, I used 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. I took some reviewers advice and cut down the salt in the brownie batter by 1/2 but after tasting the batter, I added a bit more salt. And I sprinkled almonds on top which gave it a delicious crunch. This recipe is definitely for peanut butter lovers because the dough is thick and almost overpowers the brownies.
