This was the first time I had made Peanut Butter cookies, and this recipe was great - easy and delicious!

This was the first time junior and I make PB cookies. My grandmother said they were the best she ever had (and that is saying something! We used all natural PB and rolled them in raw sugar (but used white for the dough.

I made these cookies and i read the reviews before i started so i played with it also. I split the sugar with half white and half brown sugar and it seems to have made a difference. Love the recipe and the cookies.

I read all of the reviews and made the following adjustments: use 1/2 cup brown sugar instead of 1/2 cup white; 1 cup + 2 tablespoons crunchy PB; 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; added 5 ounces PB chips, baked 11 minutes at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 tablespoon size cookies. Revised recipe yielded 30 cookies, each about 3 inches in diameter. The result was PB cookies that are better than those I have had from any gourmet cookie store. Thanks to all the earlier reviewers.

I followed the recipe perfectly. Cookies were impossible to get off the sheet and eat without turning to a crumbled pile. My kids will eat them anyway...but I'll have to find another recipe for my new neighbors. What a waste of time.

I made these tonight and followed the recipe exactly how it was written. They tasted great, but the texture was awful, kind of like eating wet sand that had been baked. They also crumbled like crazy and turned into hockey pucks once fully cooled down. I don't know what went wrong, like I said, I followed the recipe.

We really liked this idea, but decided to wing it on a few of the portions of the ingredients. We added 5oz. peanut butter chips instead of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar, and an extra splash of vanilla for the zing. Then we cooked it at 375 for 10 minutes instead of 12 for the extra squish.

I used half white & half brown sugar and an additional 2 tps of peanut butter.
The cooking time was fine and they didn't crumble. I lost my "best" recipe for these cookies some years ago and this come the closest to it.

We made these, along with some others, on Christmas Eve for Santa. Big hit! We rolled them in red & green sugar to make them more festive. I used a 1-inch scoop to make the balls and actually got about 30-35 per batch. I didn't flatten them but baked them round for only 10 minutes. Immediately after they came out of the oven, I pushed a hershey's kiss down in each ball. This flattened them a bit and made the edges crack and come up around the kiss to hold it in place. This is definitely a new family favorite!

These cookies came out with the right amount of peanut butter taste and not too sweet. The texture was perfect compared to another recipe I had tried. Next time I'm going to try them with the chocolate chips.
