I did the same as some others, despite some of the awful things said about these cookies, with a little modification, which all good cooks should get in the habit of, they are perfect. I added 1 cu. organic peanut butter (which has a stronger peanut taste, 2 tsp. of vanilla, skipped the chocolate, put the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes to make it easier to roll, and pushed down with a moistened fork like traditional peanut butter cookes and baked on 375 for 9 minutes (confectioners oven.

A good, quick cookie to mix up quickly with ingredients that are handy in the pantry. I just stirred the chocolate chips in at the end, shaped spoonfulls of dough into balls and flattened slightly. Baked them at 350 degrees for 15 minutes - they browned nicely, with soft chewy centers. Cool completely for full peanut butter flavor. Great with a glass of cold milk!

Oh my God this recipe is so horrible I cant believe its on this web site. The dough is like water I had to add almost an extra full cup of flour and another cup of peanut butter. I do not recommend this recipe

I am pretty disappointed in this recipe. I really love peanut butter and did not read the reviews before making this recipe. I added 33% more peanut butter than what was called for and still could felt the PB flavor was lacking. I had no trouble with the consistency of the batter and the texture of the cookies was very good. I did reduce the cooking time down to 13 minutes at 350. I would suggest another recipe unless you double the PB in this one.

I tried using this recipe four times. Three of the four times the cookies came out flat and the other attempt, I actually threw the dough away. It was awful. The cookies didnt bake right. They were supposed to bake up around the choclate..but instead the dough just spread all the way out and they tasted awful.

I really should have read the reviews on this recipe, as I usually do, before making the cookies. I also should have realized that only 3/4 cup of peanut butter really isn't very much for a peanut butter cookie.
I had no trouble with the batter being too sticky or with spreading out during baking, they were just flavorless and a waste of time. Thanks everyone for the suggestions on how to improve it, but I'd rather just use a whole other recipe next time.

Really disappointed in this recipe. I've made peanut butter cookies many times and this was the first time my cookies ever went flat. Plus, there was little flavor and the dough was way too sticky. I added more flour and even put it in the fridge for half an hour, but was really disappointed.

The cookies turned out a little flat. The dough was a bit sticky. Maybe not enough flour?

I really like these cookies. next time i make them i will add more peanut butter because they were a little lacking of flavor. but besides that, they were spectacular!
