Directions

Make Classic Sugar Cookies without zest. Add 1 cup peanut butter with the sugar. Roll into medium balls; press with a fork. Sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

    This recipe needs an egg (or egg white to give the cookies a better texture when they bake. Also, a teaspoon of vanilla extract gives it a nice flavor so I recommend using that as well. Then it'll be good to go.

    This cookie has good peanut butter flavor and is not overly sweet. But, I've had better. Its texture is not the best. It has a powdery texture, sort of dry. I prefer a moist, chewier cookie. I would not make this recipe again, simply because there are better recipes. I won't throw them away and the will get eaten, so they are not "poor", but they are definitely not above average.
