So delicious! The kids loved it too, but thought it was a little too spicy. I forgot to drain the diced tomatoes but it was still excellent and no one could tell the difference. It also tastes just as good as leftovers!

Family pleaser, using the mild Italian sausage and omitting red pepper flakes. I must have cut the sausage too thick, as it took forever to cook it in the sauce. But it was worth the extra time!!

A good way to spice up a weekday meal. Simple, but a nice change from what may be a ho-hum weekday meal.

A very good and quick pasta sauce that has lots of flavor for a quick weeknight meal. Sauce did not require hours on the stove like traditional 'Sunday Sauces'. I was hesitant about adding the heavy cream thinking I did not want to ruin it, but DO NOT SKIP it was a small add, but added lots of creaminess and made the sauce more blush than red. Used the large crushed tomatoes per other reviewers suggestions otherwise made it to the recipe and it was delicious. Used zita for the pasta cause that is what I had in the cubbard and the sauce coated the zita nicely...it was a medium thick sauce when coated on the pasta...not a runny sauce like some jar sauces. Sauce was done before the pasta was done making this homemade sauce even better quicker than a jar sauce. This could be my new go to sauce recipe. Also makes many lunches as leftovers or feeds a crowd of guests.
Try this now - you won't regret.

I love this dish. I don't drain the tomatoes so that I have more sauce. I also freeze this in serving size portions so that I can take it to work for lunch whenever I want. This was easy to make and and I crave it several times a year.

This recipe was fabulous, and very easy! My family loved it. My husband can not eat onions, so I Substituted onion powder in the recipe and it turned out great! My family voted this a definite "do again"!

OMG I LOVE THIS!!! but add a twist I put some corn starch in to make it thicker so it will stick to the noodles and I cut up about 2to3 sweet red peppers and it is AMAZING!!!

I do not eat spicy food, but my family does and they RAVED about this dish. Even my mother, who never completely approves of anything, said "this is delicious!" It is very easy to make. I do, however, think I will try it with the crushed tomatoes instead next time, like the other reviewers did, so there is more sauce. Great dish!!

Very good!! My boys love this every time I make it. They say 5 stars! The only thing I do differently is that I don't drain the tomatoes or I use crushed tomatoes...I do this just to make it more saucy which we like especially when I also make the bread.
