How to Make Quinoa in the Microwave
You will need 1/2 cup of quinoa and 3/4 cup water.
First, rinse the quinoa thoroughly to remove bitterness.
Put the quinoa in a medium-to-large microwave-safe bowl and add the water.
Cover and microwave on high for 6 minutes.
Cover again and microwave at 80% power until the water is absorbed, about 3 more minutes.
Fluff with a fork.
