Excellent! I also agree that you need to marinate it for the full amount of time. I ate a few shrimp earlier than the 8 hours, and although they were good, they were much, much better the next day. The onions were tasty too!
I am making this for a weekend pool party pot luck. I hope it will a big hit!

This is a variation of a similar to a recipe that I've used for years, using commercial Italian dressing instead. Fantastically delicious! However, the shrimp MUST be marinaded for the full amount of time - or it doesn't taste like much - hence the great reviews from people who followed the recipe and the terrible reviews from people who didn't wait on the marinade.

Out of the four finalists, the POV with the most appeal to me, is Martie's. These shrimp are easy and beautiful and appealing. I love to entertain and cook for big groups of people, so Martie got all of my 10 votes each day and I look forward to her helping me be a hostess with the mostest!

Loads of flavor in the marinade ingredients and so easy to put together - this will become a "go to" recipe for serving to my friends and clients.

Tangy, spicy and succulent recipe swimming in this super easy marinade. Great party or weekend poolside finger food.

We found this to be tasty, but I was hoping for something with a little more pizzazz. The food is fine, but we found the pilot to be a little fakey. Didn't Martie know anyone at her Party? It looked like her "guests" weren't very hungry or were hired actors who didn't want to be there. It would've been more effective if they'd brought in ACTUAL friends, like Yvan's family in Yvan's pilot or the friends at the end of a Giada episode. I know she has great recipes and I'd probably tune in to get them, but I hope they spice up the party aspect of the show.

I tried it today for lunch. I had to find out what was in the marinade since Martie didn't give any details during her promo. It was alright. Nothing over the top.
