You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pisco
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • Juice of 2 lemons or limes
  • 1 egg white
  • Crushed ice
  • Lemon or lime slices for garnish

Directions

Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker; shake well. Serve in 4ounce cocktail glasses with a slice of lemon or lime and sugar on the rim.

    There exist a lot of controversy about the real origin of pisco. Obviously, peruvians
    say it is theirs; however, in Chile there is as much tradition of pisco comsumption as in Peru; so chileans claim that pisco is theirs, too.

    The traditional Peruvian drink Pisco sour is made with sugar syrup and toppped with Angostura bitters. It should always be made with fresh lemon juice, never canned, and never lime juice.
    Although my friends and I prefer the drink without the egg white or bitters, that is not really a Pisco sour.
