I couldn't wait to try out this recipe! I have made crepes before, so I wasn't intimidated. I too have a vegetarian in the family - she got her own meatless dish. The rest of us carnivores will be happy I'm sure. My husband and I are both teachers and don't usually feel like tackling big cooking projects during the week. I made this tonight and put it in the 'fridge so all we have to do is pull it out and cook it tomorrow! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

After seeing the recipe on yesterday's episode, I decided this would be the perfect dinner for my wife, 4 kids and mother-in-law. The meal was a big hit, even with my vegetarian daughter. All I did was leave the pork out of one portion and increase the cheese a bit for her. The big surprise, though, were the crepes. I had never made crepes before so had manicotti shells waiting in the wings, but they weren't needed The crepes were light, tasty and a real treat. We can't wait to try the chocolate mascarpone and cherry recipe at a future date. Thanks, Anne, for a sumptious Mother's Day dinner!

Made these for my mother's day dinner. Excellent. A little work but well worth it.
My 20 year old told me 5 times during dinner how much he enjoyed them.
Really, really good. The bechamel sauce is the key, it add so much creamy
texture to the dish. Will definitely make again. Great job Ann! Love your recipes and I tape your show & watch while on the treadmill. I may need to get on tonight also :

Hey everyone, I recorded this episode and here is the recipe for the dessert!

    Compote:
Fresh cherries that are pitted and halved (she didn't give an amount-probably pint
    Splash of water
1 zest and juice of Meyer Lemon
    3/4 c sugar
Add all ingredients into saucepan and stew over heat until the consistency is syrupy
    Filling:
    2 containers of mascarpone cheese
    1/2 c sugar
    3/4 c small chocolate chips
    Pinch of cinnamon
Mix all together. Fill your crepes with the filling, fold into quarters and top with the compote.

    YUM!!!!
